A partir de found images de uma cena de striptease de Nico, extraída do filme Strip-tease (1963), de Jacques Poitrenaud, Striptease apresenta a artista e seu duplo, uma marionete que dita o ritmo do lento e sugestivo desnudamento. Diante de uma plateia e ao som de sua própria voz — em uma gravação da música-tema do filme —, Nico hesita em desvendar os mistérios do striptease, criando uma tensão palpável entre a expectativa da audiência e o desejo que se expressa em seu rosto, prestes a verter lágrimas.

From found images of a striptease scene featuring Nico, extracted from the film Strip-tease (1963) by Jacques Poitrenaud, Striptease presents the artist and her double, a puppet dictating the rhythm of the slow and suggestive undressing. In front of an audience and to the sound of her own voice—recorded from the film's theme song—Nico hesitates to unravel the mysteries of the striptease, creating a palpable tension between the audience's anticipation and the desire expressed on her face, on the verge of shedding tears.
